Korea, oh Korea! (1)

This ARIRANG NEWS is no better than the rest of mass media
(MSM) here. They do not tell the truth. Just one of those 'fake news'. In Korea now there are no such things as 'Conservatives' and 'Non-conservatives'. Only those who act as the tool of NKorea who call themselves "the Progressives(far from it)" with the only aim to overturn the present regime of SKorea and those of patriotic mind willing to keep .

Conservative groups have been holding a big protest in central Seoul,... calling for the Constitutional Court to overturn the National Assembly's impeachment motion against President Park Geun-hye.
The Korean flag-carrying supporters of President Park staged their twelfth rally outside Seoul City Hall on Saturday,... also demanding the independent counsel drop its investigation of the president over the corruption scandal.
A lawmaker from the ruling Saenuri Party,... one of a handful who attended,... told the rally that,... if President Park falls, so will the country's security.
The conservative groups say there's no solid evidence of wrongdoing by the president,... claiming the case for impeaching her is based on false media reports and pro-North Korea forces.
Peaceful protesters calling for President Park to resign over her role in the scandal have also gathered for the 15th Saturday rally in Seoul's Gwanghwamun Square.
As with previous weekends,... they have been marching to the presidential office, the Constitutional Court and the Prime Minister's residence to make their feelings known.
The Constitutional Court is expected to reach its verdict on whether to uphold or overturn the impeachment motion next month.

What are "conservatives" in South Korea?

Are these people retarded? Do they know why the impeachment process was triggered?

(Dear M Byte) Well, it is your freedom to describe them like that but instead I want you to know that these people also think the candlelight-holding protesters, who believe in fake news without criticism, are retarded. Media created anti-Park public sentiment, the impeachment motion was passed SOOOOO fast at the National Assembly based on groundless media reports, and now it has been already two months but the special prosecutors who were appointed by the opposition parties (pro-N.Korea) have not found any solid evidence to prove her link with Ms.Choi regarding corruption. Of course, Koreans know much better than you about how this scandal was triggered. The only thing revealed to date is that Ms.Choi has failed to try to make her personal gains using her acquaintance with President Park but it was done BEHIND Ms.Park’s back ! ! !…not to mention that Ms.Choi has no abilities or power to affect state affairs according to witnesses at the Court. People are protesting because press and the independent counsel team are all skewed to the left and are destroying the rule of law in S.Korea ! ! ! It is Arirang’s mistake to describe them as “conservative groups”. This is a pure, voluntary movement of the ordinary citizens insisting that President Park did not make a great fault to be impeached. She is the cleanest President in Korean history. I bet no Koreans are against this…

Statement concerning the continuing detention and ill treatment of Pres. Park in So. Korea

http://www.mhgrpllc.com/MH_Group.html

Statement concerning the continuing detention and ill treatment of President Park Geun-hye in South Korea

On 15 August 2017, an urgent Communication was submitted to the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention in Geneva. It outlined that the on-going detention and treatment of President Park Geun-hye in South Korea, particularly in light of her deteriorating health, constituted a violation of her fundamental human rights, including her right against arbitrary detention, her right against inhuman and degrading treatment, and her right to a fair trial. It is a matter of extreme concern that the national courts have refused President Park’s repeated requests to be released during her trial, without proper justification, even though she is ill and has collapsed in court.

The Communication, which was also submitted directly to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and to the Special Rapporteur on Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, has asked for an urgent finding that President Park’s detention is arbitrary and unlawful under international law, especially since she has not been granted provisional release to receive effective medical treatment and care; that President Park has been treated in an inhuman and degrading manner; and, that her trial is marred by procedural and other irregularities which undermine her rights to a fair trial.

The urgent Communication was submitted on the instructions of President Park’s family, close associates and supporters, by an international legal team led international human rights law Barrister, Rodney Dixon QC, and the President of the MH Group, Dr. Mishana Hosseinioun.

Given new reports that President Park will be sentenced on 17 October in the national proceedings, the international legal team urges the Working Group swiftly to consider and decide on the Communication, and to take immediate steps to guarantee President’s Park fundamental rights. The team is in direct contact with the Working Group to obtain an expedited outcome.

President Park has been detained in South Korea for almost six months following impeachment proceedings that were plainly politically motivated and not based on cogent and credible legal and evidential considerations. President Park was denied the right to be presumed innocent. Her treatment in detention can only be described as inhuman and degrading, and has included sleep deprivation, abusive and coercive interrogations, and excessively rough treatment that has left her with bruises from handcuffs.

She has been denied regular and effective medical treatment for several chronic and painful medical conditions, and was deprived of essential medical care after collapsing in court. Despite the pressing matter of her deteriorating health, exacerbated by her continued detention, she has been denied any opportunity to receive adequate medical care through provisional release or options of house arrest. All of her efforts to secure provisional release have fallen on deaf ears and been denied without good reason. It is internationally accepted that detention is the exception under international human rights standards, and is only justified in exceptional circumstances. None of these pertain in the present case which does not concern violent crimes; President Park is not a flight risk; and she presents no danger to any witnesses and will not interfere in the proceedings. She is in dire need of medical care outside of prison. There is simply no reason to detain her while her trial continues.

In addition, the criminal proceedings against her for bribery and other charges have been characterised by serious irregularities which demonstrate that President Park’s right to a fair trial before an independent and impartial tribunal has been violated. Her continued detention is therefore arbitrary. This is highlighted by an artificially expedited and unduly protracted trial schedule that denies President Park the ability adequately to prepare for, and fully participate in, the proceedings. It is also evident in the fact that interrogators have used coercive and abusive interrogation techniques against her, and her co-accused likely to provide evidence adverse to her, in order to obtain confessions and evidence. These interrogations have included severe sleep deprivation and threats of physical harm or arrest against those interviewed and their families.

Given the very serious and continuing human rights violations committed against President Park, the international legal team will be bringing these breaches to the attention of the UN Human Rights Council during the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the Republic of Korea’s human rights’ compliance in November 2017. The violations that President Park has endured are a stain on South Korea’s human rights’ record, and the UPR will provide a unique opportunity for the UN to address the matter head-on.

The international legal team will be making representations to all relevant UN bodies, and Governments, to intervene to have President Park released without delay and to be able to receive the necessary medical attention.

MH Group Statement on Saif al-Islam Gaddafi

On 7 July 2016, reports were disseminated by a UK-based lawyer claiming to represent Saif al-Islam Gaddafi that Mr Gaddafi had been “released from custody, from Zintan detention” and that the death sentence had been “quashed” by the Libyan central government. These reports were and remain unsubstantiated and no power of attorney was ever presented despite numerous requests.

Now, almost one year later, exactly the same, unsubstantiated, unverified, and unreliable news release has made its rounds once again. There has been no documentary evidence of Mr Gaddafi’s freedom, no proof of power of attorney, and not a single syllable of statement from Mr Gaddafi confirming or denying his supposed lawyer’s claim.

After several years of my advocacy through submissions to the ICC and African Commission and Court of Human Rights, the African Court on 3 June 2016 issued a Default Judgment against the Libyan government calling the unlawful detention of Mr Gaddafi a violation of his rights to liberty and a fair trial. It is no surprise that the Libyan government would want to escape further embarrassment and potential prosecution by the African Court by claiming, along with Mr Gaddafi’s apparently appointed lawyer, that he is no longer under unlawful detention nor facing the death penalty.

There has been no evidence to the contrary, and neither should these reports be taken at their word until such word exists from Mr Gaddafi himself.

"Thank-you" bow to an American young man

An email sent to Suk Koo by Lawrence Peck
https://www.facebook.com/suk.koo1?fref=nf

The other day at a rally of over 1 million conservatives in Seoul,
a man over 80 approached me and bowed deeply to me, which
was highly unusual and a bit embarrassing. I asked him why he
was bowing to a young stranger, which is unheard of in Korean
culture, and he said his bow was meant to thank me, as an
American, for the tens of thousands of Americans who gave
their lives defending freedom in Korea during the Korean War.
Several conservative leaders here have been complaining to me that
the media and the entertainment community in Korea are deeply biased
against conservatives, and they asked me if Americans had ever had the
same problem. He also wondered if American academics were as devoted
to political correctness as were Korean far-left professors. After I stopped
laughing, I could only reply to them, "We have this famous dish in America
called "kimchi" and I wonder if you have anything similar in Korea?" They
got the point! Ha! Ha!

Our Comment:
Americans have no Trojan Horse like us Koreans here.

"New scarves" - the token of the Korea-US alliance against North Korea

Suk Koo unfolds An email sent to her by a certain American who said in his mail,
"I have become a "fashion trend-setter"! This is surreal! I can't believe it myself! I am about the last person we all know that anyone would ever expect to be thought of as a "fashion trend-setter," but in the circus-like atmosphere of intense left-versus-right struggle here in Korea, that is what I have somehow become, at least according to some new Korean media reports.
As you know from my emails, for the past several months, Korean conservatives forces,
at their large rallies here, have been prominently displaying American flags to show
their friendship for the USA, to support the US-Korean alliance against the North, to
express their opposition to left-wing political leaders who are not pro-US and who
would appease the North and thereby damage relations with the US, and to more
generally annoy local leftists, who become enraged when they see all those US flags.
When I arrived in Seoul, last week, I gave American flag scarves to some of the leading
conservatives and pro-US activists in the country, the very ones who are in the media
all the time and giving speeches to huge rallies of millions of people in the heart of Seoul,
such as the lawyers representing the president in her impeachment trial, leading legislators,
defectors from North Korea, and famous activists from local conservative organizations.
The Korean media have started noticing that these leaders have in recent days all been
wearing such US flag scarves, and they are calling it a new fashion trend among Korean
conservatives, but these media outlets have not yet been able to discover just who the mysterious fellow was who gave these scarves last week to the top conservative leaders."

Our comment:

In Korea there is no such thing as "leftists" and "rightists(Conservatives)". Only "those who are of the Trojan Horse, the tool of North Korea" vs. "the freedom-loving people of patriotism".

ON KOREAN AFFAIRS

FOR IMEDATE RELEASE:

Peter Pyung Woo Kim, Esq. and Sudeok Jang, Esq., Co-Chairs
International Lawyers Forum (Korea Chapter)
Seoul, Korea
sdjang@sudeokjang.com

                                                            INAUGURATION
                                                                        and
                                    PRESS CONFERENCE ON KOREAN AFFAIRS
-The Facts and Observations of the Press Gate -

SEOUL, KOREA:
This Press Release is intended to announce the inauguration of a non-profit legal community association of lawyers deeply concerned in the demise of the legal system of Korea in relation with the current turmoil caused by the ‘press gate’.  You are cordially invited to the inauguration ceremony as well as the press conference.
Time: 2:30-5:00 pm, Tuesday, February 21, 2017
Place: 18th Floor, Korea Press Center, Seoul, Korea

Majority of the people believe that North Korea initiated a long-coveted unification by non-military force after a long range espionage and step-by-step infiltration, a rekindling of the Korean War which has been on truce since 1953. South Koreans are divided into roughly two groups; the patriotic rightists group, represented by the mob led by national flags (Tae-Geuk-Ki) in defensive position on one hand and the activists group, represented by the mob led by candle lights in aggressive position on the other. The latter group has grasped substantial control over the press, the legal system and the political parties.  Street rallies by both factions are becoming weekly events. The national flags group rally grows faster and larger to a forecasted 5 Million on March 1st National Liberation Movement Day.
The candle light mob succeeded in having impeachment motion made by the National Assembly and the Constitutional Court (equivalent to US Senate for impeachment purpose) is now deliberating a decision for either quoting or dismissing the motion. A ‘special prosecutor’ is investigating crimes of the civilians and the President. Human rights appear to be at peril.
There will be a short inauguration ceremony, followed by a panel discussion of the extraordinary events and measures and a Q&A session. Both international and domestic correspondents are invited for free discussions, mostly for legal topics. It is encouraged for the RSVP’d participants to review the background materials that we will forward in advance of the conference, including a few articles, videos and correspondence related to the incidence. The conference will be performed in English.
In a nutshell, the entire country is ailing from the buried, distorted and manipulated news of events and crises. The truth is blindfolded by the press and the justice is displaced by the conspiracy of the press, the legal system and the parliament, thereby promoting the interest of subversive group at the expense of frustration of the patriots. Political system dysfunctions and governmental power is abdicated.
Contacts by all means of internet communications will be welcomed with prompt responses.

Trump will die at the age of 75 after finishing his term of presidency

네이버 영어 사전 안내

wikipedia - Donald Trump

Trump will be impeached in less than two years? No, never. Fashomo(the law which governs human life) tells that Trump will die at the age of 75. He can't run in 2020. In sum, he has 4 years safely guaranteed to "make America great again". Accordingly, there can be no such thing as "Trump Assassinated". They can't stop him becoming one of the greatest Presidents of the U.S.

The following links are available for you to take a brief look at what Fashomo(fas=divine law in Latin, homo=homo sapiens) is and others.
